[Elsa spends a lot of her time out and about in the library. It's a nice safe space: somewhere she can go that doesn't get too much traffic just because it's so big, so she's out of her room and stretching her legs without needing to eat as quickly as possible to avoid someone she doesn't know sitting down with her, or trying to strike up a conversation when she was really only out and about in the first place because she needed something.
But it's inevitable that sometimes you will run into someone else in here, and so she winds up finding Gwen during one of these study sessions while on the hunt for a new book of her own. Elsa's spent a lot of time reading since coming to the Barge, and she's always been interested in science. There's just so much more of it here than there was at home, so when she spots the stack of books Gwen's got with her and then gets a smile from the other blonde, she kind of can't help but ask.
