Hi Mason, this is Gwen Stacy, your temporary Warden. I was wondering if maybe you wanted to meet up some time, get to know each other a little bit? You're my first Inmate assignment, but I've got a lot of ideas and I'm really looking forward to getting to know you and work with you.

[ Gwen, as she's been taken to doing most days since she arrived here, will most likely be found in the library on the fifth level, reading and taking notes on whatever's managed to catch her interest that day. studying, yes, just for the sake of doing so. there might not be any exams here, but she's still interested in learning, still wants to keep herself sharp. if she were at home, she'd have a very NO INTERRUPTIONS, PLEASE vibe going on about her, deeply focused on her books, but here she's gotten into the habit of looking up every once in a while, seeing who else spends their time here and seeing how they choose to utilize it. it's interesting!
either that or she'll be in the cafeteria getting her meal on, and most times she'll be there with Peter Parker, but sometimes she heads down alone, just to grab a snack. which is probably some form of chocolate, if she can get her hands on it. she's most likely sitting alone, like a loner geek kid at school, because that's totally what she is. and she's fine with that. but seriously, come sit with her, she would like company more than she'd ever admit. ]

And, um. Yeah, actually. It's still a little crazy, when i let myself think about it, but generally speaking it's not so bad. The library's great. And the cafeteria food is way better than Midtown's. [ grin! ]

I still do the odd kitchen shift meself. They're a fantastic lot in there. Very professional. And thank you, love.
...and I know, getting 'im drunk could be counterproductive, but I can't see much else we can use as incentive at this stage. Worst case, it won't do any permanent damage if we 'ave to put a stopper on it, eh?
Mason's a good one to start with, I 'ave to say. You don't 'ave to worry about 'im getting stabby on you and 'e's not bright enough to manipulate anything very much. 'E just needs to learn not to live like a waste of space, basically.

...all right, the first time 'e got me we weren't paired yet, and the second time were more or less consensual, but still.
Mason's not the type, though. 'E's only violent if 'e's cornered. Or protecting someone.

It took a friend getting beat up for me to teach me not to do it 'ere. 'Cause even though they still talk the supervillain talk, they're trapped and powerless 'ere and we're not. Under those circumstances, my plucky defiance just come off as bullying. Which is the opposite of what I am and what I meant.
...Sorry. I'm getting off the point as usual. Mason's got nowt of the supervillain about 'im, bless 'is 'eart. I think 'e's just spent so long living without real consequences 'e forgot they still apply.
